Tito Jun, trying his hardest to ignore me as I shove my new camera in his face. This is, I think, my favourite photograph from the evening. Shot with a 1.4 aperture (for those camera-savvy folks).

I've forgotten what point Ate is making right here. But it was a big one.

Pippo is the other honorary member of the Montclair-First-Floor Coscolluelas. He spends most of his time sitting on the couch and eating potato chips; he also wears a pair of Kim's socks on his feet.

Kim and Dad, however, are not as amused at laughing at our fellow Americans.

Our Christmas-time entertainment. Apparently, we Americans are mighty stupid.

Honorary Coscolluela family member; this time, impersonating an HP ad.

Another one of our blown-glass ornaments. Ate has a tradition of buying two new ornaments a year for her and Mike's tree. This is one of mine and Kim's. The other is a red chili pepper.

This year, Kim and I had a little Charlie-Brown-esque Christmas tree, which sat crookedly in its base the entire time. I thought it was quite charming. I was in charge of buying ornaments this year, and decided to go with a more traditional blown-glass theme.
